6th June’09, Mumbai. Garima Patpatya, a software engineer from Pune won Rs.1. crore jackpot of Smart Lott lotteries, marketed by Scope Marketing (promoted by Sugal & Damani Group) in Maharashtra. She was felicitated and given the prize money by Mr. C. M. Sharma, Director- Sikkim State Lotteries and Mr.Naresh Mangal, Director – Sugal & Damani Group of Companies.

The 26 yrs old software engineer is planning to give the prize money to her family. Talking about the future plans Garima said that “She plans to study further and buy a house with the prize money”. She was introduced to the Smart Lott lotteries by her elder brother and has been playing since past 7 months. Her advice to the player is just select the numbers by your intuition and you could emerge a winner just like her.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. C.M. Sharma, Director- Sikkim State Lotteries said that,” Since 30 years of its launch their lotteries have always had fair draws and the senior officials of the government are present for these draw. He further added that the Sikkim lotteries are the highest earning state lotteries in North East state. Talking about the future plans he further added that they have already started a casino in Sikkim state and very shortly launching online casino which will have Roulette, Black Jack, and Poker among others”.

Mr. Pradeep Lunkad, spokesperson of Scope Marketing, said that they have 2700 terminals across Maharashtra; and so far in just 9 months they have disbursed Rs.157 crores to the winners across Maharashtra and are also planning to launch more games in near future.
